Thrustmaster wheel and shifter not detected in any games

Hi, I have been using the Thrustmaster t500rs and th8rs shifter for years now without problem. But when I wanted to start rfactor 2 today the game did not detect the wheel. So then I tried Euro Truck Simulator 2, and same problem, not detecting wheel or shifter. And same with other games.

But the PC does detect both and they works fine when check them in the hardware settings, and also steam big picture detects them, but no games. So I have tried to re-install wheel and shifter drivers and have re-installed USB drivers to no help. So anyone got any ideas on how to fix this?

Edit: Found the problem. I did not even remember I had steam beta enabled, so I turned that off and now works fine

Same issue with a Logitech G25!! And i have enabled the beta too...damn!!!!

exit steam
unplug the controller open device manager , plug in the controller see if it shows up .
if not restart computer , open device manager is it there now ?
if not reinstall the drivers , then open steam , steam should now see the controller and you can change settings in big pic mode

You enabled the beta? For it was just disable beta, then steam re-start and it worked again

hey there, did you find an answer to this ? none of my Thrustmaster products are being recognised by games scince steam update.. am .really pissed at this

As I told, what worked for me was to disable steam beta. Then steam restarts and update back to the stable build, then it has worked fine in all games for me
