How to open Steam links inside Steam client instead of external browser?
So since I started using Chrome as my default browser, the following issue has been occuring with Steam:

When I'm in the Steam client and click a link that links to a steam page (e.g. a community announcement/update on the library page of a game) it opens the link in Chrome. Before, it used to open the link inside the Steam client, which was really nice.

Does anyone know how I can fix/revert this?

EDIT:

Steam > Settings > Web Browser > Uncheck box where it says to use desktop browser.

Edit - I don't believe this might fix it but try and see if it does...

It does not affect that sadly.

We don't know if Valve changed it or if it is a bug.

I don't see this option on the 2024 version.
