Can't open links through steam client

Encountered a problem, where links which are not directly leading to steam comunity/market/shop and other steam related stuff won't open in client. Example:
https://steamcommunity.com/discussions/forum/1/ - working link
https://www.google.com/ - not working link
When i try to open links through steam inside any browser or on mobile steam version everything works fine.

External sites should use the web browser on your PC.

Links that would lead to other places within Steam would open in the client.

Well, the problem is, they don't use any of my browsers. I have Chrome, Opera and Mozila. When i press links to any external sites while using steam client, nothing happens.

Clear your Steam Client Web Browser's cache and cookies.

Steam > Settings > Web Browser > [options here]

Additionally, that the box there is checked — the one that allows desktop browsers to login to Steam Sites.
