Steam App /Link audio needs urgent fix

Since OS High Sierra, steam App and Link will not work. The Audio comes from a none Apple approved source and requests manual acceptance under Security - only the manual accept does not work. Why can’t Valve source audio pass through files that are approved or make their own / this is stopping Mac users from using the Link or Stram App. When will this be fixed pleased?
