Does The Isle still run on Linux?
I have read that you can run The Isle on Linux and the devs are working on improving Linux support. But I'm afraid of buying the game because on the game's page on Steam, there is no Steam icon, which makes me think only Windows and Mac are supported right now. Can someone for sure say that it works on Linux?

My system configurations are

Ubuntu 16.04 GNOME
Intel i7 7th gen, 8GB RAM, nVidia GTX1050

Your specs should be able to run it on medium settings, if not try low. Also, if it doesn't play well simply refund it.

Is refunding a straight forward process? I have never gone through this myself.

Read the game page. It always says the OS it is able to run
It says so in the description however there is no Steam logo or a minimum requirements section listed in the page which is usually present for games supported on Linux like DiRT Rally or Tomb Raider for example.

It's still in early access and linux is listed as planned. So far, it hasn't got Linux support.

And there is a forum area for Linux users
Google translator.
If you buy a game, it will be displayed in the library as Linux. A year ago, I played it without problems. but with every update it worked worse. Until she stopped working at all. The game is still installed and started, but it does not work showing a black screen.

Arch Linux i3, GTX660, 8ram
