Mc FTB Major Issues?

im getting like 1-30 fps and its not stable im using the revelation pack! i allocated 5gb of ram, have 64 java 8, change the setting to 3 chunks and it still lags intensely! The same happens with tekkitbut tekkit runs more stably at 30fps high settings. New to minecraft modding help appreciated!
Running (Acer Nitro 5)
Fx-9830p 4 cores 2.6ghz-3ghz
Rx-550 4gbs
8gb ddr4
windows 64 bit
