How to turn off censor?
I'm not sensitive to "bad" words, I don't need them to be censored, and the censor doesn't improve my experience in discussions. :/

Not possible. Keep it family friendly and you won't have any issues. There is no need for male cow excrement expressions.

you can't, nor do you need to.. you can still easily tell what word was used via the context of the words around it

It's not a question about you being sensitive or not, bad language is against the forumrules to keep the place familyfriendly and nice, even if a word is blocked it's still not ok to write it.

While I'm fine having it on, there are some words that shouldn't be filtered. I doubt there's no easy way of sending feedback about it..?

If it was filtered, there was a reason for it.

Their reason is that they don't understand the language.

I couldn't describe a cardgame in German, because the word for ace (Ass) is censored.

Note: I am aware that it is impossible to maintain a halfway effective wordfilter if you don't filter words that might have another meaning in another language. I was just giving an example.

Perkele, a name of a particular god. Later on, as well as today, the word means "devil".

...I guess they read a wikipedia article about it, calling it a "rude profanity", when infact in modern day context it literally is "♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥". Wikipedia is not a reliable source.

So, the mother of all Finnish swear words should not be filtered?

Why isn't "♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥" filtered? It is used in an identical way.

Edit: just testing...
Saatana (yup, the translation for "satan" is also filtered)
