Stop Steam client auto-maximize
So I've seen this in other (closed) topics with no solution. The steam client tends to randomly auto-maximize. Which normally I wouldn't care to much about, but I'm also having a separate issue with windows 10 and the Steam client that is making the whole thing really irritating and any solutions would be greatly appreciated.

I've set my background on windows 10 to change the image every minute. Problem is, every time the image changes, if Steam is maximized, the client locks up. I can "unlock" it by minimizing from the taskbar and re-maximizing. But in a minute it will just do it again. I've gotten around this by resizing my window down to almost full screen. When it's not maximized it doesn't lock up.

So you can see why I find it annoying that the client randomly maximizes the client window. Because now I have to unfreeze it, resize it, and then go back to what I was doing.

And yes, I know I could change my background settings, but why should I have to for one program?

Any suggestions? Thanks.
