Unlink Steam from GMG without Knowing the GMG Account
I was trying to link my Steam account to my GMG account and it told me that this Steam account is already linked to another GMG account. I may have done that with an old account years ago.

I've been trying to reset the password for all the other email addresses that I have and none of them have GMG accounts associated. I tried logging in to GMG through Steam but that errored out.

So I guess the question is how do I unlink my Steam account from GMG without having access to the said GMG account?

Try to regain access to the GMG account and unlink it from there. There is no way to unlink them here.

Contact their support for any assistance.

Okay thanks guys. I thought there was something similar to Facebook where you can revoke access to your profile or something.

That's only when you use Facebook's OpenID to authenticate to a 3rd party site expliclity

With Steam the only thing GMG gets whenyou authenticate is your SteamID number. GMG on their end links that SteamID with your GMG account and it then 'knows' you own said SteamID. That's pretty much all it does and you can't 'revoke' it because there's no security token GMG has to revoke.
