My Account is messed up. Help!

This is weird. My account is acting like it is a new account mixed with bits of my account. For example: All my games are gone except for those I had installed locally even though steam history of purchases is empty. My account still links to the same email but not my phone for steam guard. My inventory is empty yet I had the option to select my 12 year badge.

I believe my account has been acting strange since the day before when my wishlist was not displaying properly (steam said there was nothing there) but after I restarted steam it worked again.

Help! The forum is my last hope. There doesn't appear to be any way to contact steam support. None of the questions relate to my situation under support. My account is not stolen as I could access it as normal and as I did the last night. Nor is there any button after going through the search to contact steam support

You're logged into the wrong account. Check emails from Steam when you bought games.
They will show the actual account nem.

I only have _1_ account. It has the same user name, email, password everything. It is the content of that account that is (mostly) messed up.

And that doesn't explain why I have all the games installed on my computer registering as games but nothing in my purchase history.

What are you having difficulties understanding? My account should have hundreds of games that I purchased over the last twelve years. It should have 60+ games on the wishlist that is empty. My account should have my friends listed. Badges and hundreds of cards in inventory.

I had an old account which I merged with this account (I believe) seven years ago. Even that one had more than nothing in the purchase history.

Shot in the dark but is this by chance your account? It has a 12-year badge, 241 games, and about 100 cards in its inventory.

And accounts cannot be merged. Steam doesn't support merging accounts.

Well I'll be damned. It was the old account. I guess steam moved ownership of all my games, badges, etc. to my main account. Still I wonder why it's still active even though its been more than five years since I merged it.

Thanks for trying to help. But Drab was right. Now I just need to figure out why the wishlist keep screwing up.
Edit: It is also interesting to find out someone else is using the same handle...

Ah, I did see that profile on the search. I should have included both but one had 13-year badge and the other 12 so I only put the 12-year account.

The wishlist problem is probably just some sort of error on Valve's side. It will likely be sorted out soon (read: whenever they get to it).

Accounts can not be merged
