forever shame
I found removing them through license page under account page. When i click on "View licenses and product key activations" i can remove non-paid (free) games from the list. On the other hand the games can also be removed permanenty from Steam Support page by clicking on "i want to permanently remove this game from my account"...
What is the difference? Don't they do the same thing?
I hope someone would clarify this!
Thanks!
In the case of FTP titles it it does the same thing, removing the license from your account.
With bought games the "remove from account" option just deactivates the license and it can be restored the same way. For FTP games you need to go back to the store page of the game and press "install".
Thanks a lot for your explanation friend. Here are what i found. I hope you confirm them.
-If you have ever clicked to "play" a FTP or Demo game eventhough you did not install, it is automatically added to Account's License page listed with "remove" button. Installing them is not required for being added to the licence page. They also would appear on your profile's "all games" list.
-If you previously installed or added a game to your library then uninstalled by deleting its content, it is still listed on Account's License page with optional "remove" button.
-Paid/purchased games cannot be removed from Account's License page due to missing "remove" button.
-Games that do not currently appear on Steam Store (such as some demo games of full games), are also removed from Profile's "All games" list, but not from Account's License page.
Those were the observations i got today, and to be honest I am not sure why Valve designed Steam in that way causing such massive mess along with a lot of confusions.
Are they expected behaviors listed above?
Best regards!
