My microphone is extremely loud
The title.
Now don't go thinking I'm some kid that doesn't know what he's talking about. I've been dealing with this microphone(quality is OK) for a really long time. I have the volume at 0, and if I even MOVE or hit my desk it makes a huge static noise. If I talk low it's normal, but then If I talk normal or loud, it's static and ruins and video I'm making and also sounds horrific. You can't understand a thing, and the mic volume in Recording Devices shows it going up completely like in Wii Fit when you break the obese meter. So how do I fix this?

I right click on the mic I'm using, hit properties, go to levels and set it down. Zozo demons usually make it slither up most of the time. I do this process every time I want to play ANY game.

Try this, left click recording devices, default recordind device, left click Mic properties, Advanced tab and uncheck Exclusive mode. Maybe it will help.

Also left click, playback devidces, go to Communications tab and check Do Nothing.

You could also check this too. Steam Settings > Voice and uncheck Boost Mic Gain.
