Uploading pictures to workshop item.
Hi
Suddenly I cannot upload any pictures to my mods, it is a steam problem as I can't do it from my phone either, it just loads for eternity, I've even tried removing then reuploading an existing mod picture and now can't get it back in.
Thanks.

So right now I have a very popular workshop item with the credits picture removed and new content pictures waiting to go in.
Please help
Thanks
Same problem here. Tried uploading an addon for a game but can't even add a picture.

Try using Internet Explorer to do the uploading of the image(s) as this appears to be the workaround suggested elsewhere.

Ok thanks
I'm really eager to get this description polished off, can you please tell me what you mean by using internet explorer?
Thanks

Use the Internet Explorer browser instead of the Steam client to upload images to your workshop. Worked fine for me.

It's as Radcat has said - only thing to watch out for is that you may have to allow insecure content to run on the page.

Ahh so you mean go to steam via Google and not the app?
Just wondering how else to reference my mod from the internet search bar.
Thanks

I have just uploaded the pictures to my Google account but don't understand how to send to my specific workshop item?
Thanks

Open the Steam website on your browser, then navigate to your workshop items; from then select the addon that you want to use the picture for. At the right side of the screen there should be a section which says "Owner Controls" Under that click on the button which says "Add/Edit Images & Videos"

Sorry but isn't that the normal way?
Once I have signed into the steam website it's just the same as clicking desktop icon, it does the same thing.
Thanks

Yes, the website should look basically the same as the desktop application. However for me, when uploading an image to the workshop using the app it would stick on the loading icon. But when using the Steam website on Internet Explorer I could actually upload the image I wanted and it worked fine.

The only way I know is to use "add/edit images" in owner controls at the workshop item, but you guys are mentioning uploading using internet browser, this i don't understand.
Thanks

Ahh ok I see, but didn't work sadly, did the same thing.
I remember a similar thing with raceroom profile and over pictures.

I will keep trying via Google through PC and phone.
Thanks
