steam interface how to disablle high dpi acaling

after the latest steam update, in the notes it said a checkox would be added under settings - interface- disable high dpi scaling. i dont have it or am looking the wrong place. can someone hellp me find this? i have a 2560 x 1440 monitor. I am hesitant to buy any more steam games until i am sure graphics are the best they can be. i've been playing sniper elite 4 for a month or so on win 10 creators and after disable high dpi scaling on se4 exe i can see faces on enemies and graphics much improved allthough distant buildings and foilage still fuzzy.

thanks for the reply. sorry im not real good at understanding pc. I was under the impression that additional support was initialized for new high resolution monitors.mine is a144hz 2560x1440 DSR capable of 4k. just want to know how to maximize capability of system. i5 processor 2600k evga gtx 1070 ftw and 16gb ram
