Random .exe files in steam\games folder??
I noticed there are .exe and .dll files in the folder C:\Program Files (x86)\Steam\steam\games
that are not for anything I have ever played or owned. Not to mention that I have only had a Steam account since 2015, and the files are from 2007 / 2008. AND my PC is new -- albiet refurbished -- and I've only had it since February of this year.

I was hoping someone had an idea where they came from. Maybe they're left over from before it was refurbished? I wouldn't think so, as I had to go through all the first-time setup stuff for Windows and everywhere else on my system appears to be clean.

Can I just delete them? Or is there actually a reason for them to be there?

It just seems strange for them to be there, but I'll leave them if they're supposed to be.

The .dll files are from Half Life 2 and the .exe files are from some sports simulator games and something called Crysis

Well if you dont own Half Life 2 or Crysis the files for those games are useless, thought I would keep them since they dont take up much space, you can never know what to expect with steam.

Apparently my brother has them on his computer too, so I'll assume they're meant to be there. Should have had him check before posting. But thanks!
