NTFS error, halp pls
"the game you are installing requires a drive with the NTFS sile system and cannot be installed on a FAT32 filesystem. For more information bla bla..."

thats the error massage i get when i try installing CSGO on my /D. wich is a 64gb memory stick. with USB 3.0 (or higher) connection speed.

i dont wanna sdownload csgo again, and i already have it in my steamapps folder (around 16gb file) which also is on /D

anyone can help me out on this?

EDIT: i can start the game from the folder connected to steam, but it wont let me start games as i am not VAC secured and it says it is outdated (which it is as i didnt install the last update before moving it to /d)

rightclick and re-format the drive. (in my computer)

Pick NTFS instead of FAT32

You cannot start executables directly if it's a valve game. Launch them via steam or use the steamrun command. (that's why you get the VAC insecured message)

Option should be called "Format..", not reformat.

This might help if you still don't have the option to format.

Assuming that you're going to format your memory stick, make a backup first. You probably don't want to format it without making a backup of your game installation (if I understood it correctly, you have the installation files there and you don't want to download these files again).

Hope this helps.

i dont have enough space on my /c (thats why its on /d) to store my backup in the first place as it is 31 gig of data only the steam folder, but there is other stuff too. so...its either reinstall evything, which will take about 4-5 days (♥♥♥♥♥♥ internett) or just....try not to do that.
