4k 30 fps or 1080 60 fps ?

Hi guys i need your advice please.
I have the omen hp laptop
Gtx 1070 and 4k screen
If i want to play for example far cry 5 what option is better ?
The 4k 30 fps or 1080 60 fps ?
Ps: far cry 5 at 4k is so damn amazingg
So should i sacrifice the beauty of 4k for the sake of 60 fps ?!

I always prefer FPS over graphics. Because better FPS means better gameplay for me.
What is the use if a game looks great but plays sluggish?
But in the end it is something you need to decide for yourself, everyone has their own preferences.

Upgrade to 1080 ti enjoy 4k 60fps on fc5. Otherwise 50-60 fps is better choice 30 is not fit for human.....unless u r poor student on laptop :)

Just play it both ways and decide what you like. Don’t worry about the opinions of random people on the internet, just use the old Mark one eyeball test.

The 1070 is going to struggle maintaining any decent fps at 2160p unless you're playing older or less demanding games.
You will have a better experience at lower resolutions with a higher frame rate with that gpu.

If you want to game at 4k, you're better off getting a 1080ti for better fps at higher resolutions such as 4k.

Personally i wasn't impressed at all with the graphics of FarCry 5, even when switching to 8k the game looks rather outdated compared to other older titles. That's just my opinion though.

I'd go with higher fps...

Still image looks great in 2160p, that's for sure. But what's the point of it at 30 fps? You will be moving 99.9% of time (since it's game you know), and 30 fps will completely destroy your 2160p clarity. Not only resolution. There is no point in high quality textures/models/whatever at such framerate.

In other words it will be blurry and stuttery mess. Your eyes wont be able to focus on anything during movement (except for your gun, since it's relatively static on your screen).

Unless you want to stay still and enjoy scenery (and/or take screenshots). Then you can launch it in 8k.

If you explain on how to upgrade a soldered laptop GTX 1070 to a GTX 1080 Ti and make it fit into a laptop I would be gladly to ehar it and learn how to do this.

I would also go far beyond 30 fps for shooters so not worth taking 4K on a GTX 1070 espacially apried with a laptop CPU.
