I need some help or idea's, with my Steam program
I had steam installed to my program files directory not my program files 86x when I installed steam I thought it needed to be in the 64 bit dir to be able to run 64 bit. Well until last night this has worked fine over the years no issue, but last night for some reason, I'm not sure why my Program Files was deleted, either I accidentialy deleted it when uninstalling a program my Asus Mthr brd had installed years ago.. anyway its gone and accept for Banished all my programs have started to run in 32 bit instead of 64 bit. when I try to reinstall steam it finds the correct program files and ask if it should install there I say yes and shortly after it start installing it all to the 86X directory and nothing but Banished will run in 64 bit.?? help idea's wanted to fix this issue.

The Steam client is a 32-bit program that has nothing to do with your issues launching a game using its own 64-bit version.

It's "ideas", no apostroph. Apart of that, what issue exactly? Does the game not run?

Hey again. I should not have started that thread earlier in this forum earlier. Was pointless, I know, idk I was tired sorry. Also, I just felt insulted after the last interaction weeks ago. Not apologizing for that, but apologizing for recently. It's fine, and hopefully you can forgive me also, but I am the only one to ever apologize for anything around here. Bye.

And I don't mean anything that wrong by that, just being honest, not talking about you though. Don't get me wrong, just saying that's how it seemed for me in general with others, sorry. Bye.

Ok...

What?

Well I think I got it fixed, I haven't tested it. but I did a reinstall of my video driver followed by a reinstall of steam it is now back in the 64 bit Program files as the start dir, this wasn't a pointless post, even if you didn't help it helped me solve the issue. so Thanks for the replies! grammar a useless subject btw I don't see it so it doesn't really happen.
