Maestro debit card usage on steam

Hello everyone!

I am reposting this because my previous post about maestro was deleted. I just got the maestro debit card from my bank (fyi i live in Slovenija) and I was excited and I thought, i would be able to buy stuff on steam. I came to a sad realisation maestro card option is not available and so I am pretty bumed about being hyped the entire week waiting for a card that I can now hardly use on any site so I was wondering, is there a way i could buy steam games or steam gift cards in any other way?
If there is a way please tell me because I don't realy like, that I need to take a ride to the nearest gas station to buy paysafecards.

Most Maestro card only work in retail stores.

So a Mastercard or Visa is what you need to get to buy stuff online.
