The name of the file cannot be resolved by the system
Been trying to download eco, but I keep getting disk write errors. Been working for nearly 10 hours trying every method I could find the fix it, and it seems that the last method I can try is to delete the eco file itself. The problem is I can't even attempt this method because I cannot access the steamapps folder. I can't get into it in safe mode either.

EDIT: Did a full scan and found no issues.

Did a quick scan but i'll try a full scan. Is malewarebytes free for me to use or is Windows Defender good enough?
so deleting game content doesn't work?

Malwarebytes has a 14 day trail. Not sure if you can keep using it afterwards, like winrar.

Malwarebytes has a 14-day premium trial you can use for a full scan. Windows defender is the definition of trash.
If the trail is for premium, it should revert back to free edition after the trail.

Nope, can't touch the folder at all.
