Avast issue..
Hi all just came back to my PC with a few alerts from Avast saying:

"We've safely aborted connection to ( (valve2001) steamcontent dot com .. had to write like this so it doenst atually include a link here) because it was infected with VBS: Bicololo-TX
. There was a few of these ... i think like 2-3 (valve2001,2003 etc) and i noticed my steam was indeed updating a few games at the time. Is this simple a false flag or should i be worried? I am doing a full scan right now with Avast & Malwarebytes and i will also do one of those scans it does before you start windows.. just wondering is all thanks

any safelist we can add steam to?
same issue here, any working ideas ? :D
If it's Dota2 like on some of us, unsubsribe to dota2 workshop content, remove it from pc (steam/steamapps/workshop/) it's the one numbered 570. Then restart steam.
Same here, wtf is going on 0.0
Same for me, I reinstalled steam and still does it when Dota is updating the workshop.
Stuck at 1.7/1.7gb
hello brother i will tell you how to fix this.
at first i also scared but mr Jwsto told me to do this
search steam/Steamapps/workshop,then if youwant to to delete dota2 stuff it's the one numbered 570. and unsubsribe all dota 2 workshop content. restart the steam should fix it thank man .

working for me too, ty guys
work for me too :D thanks red eyes
For me it just stopped and it's working now :0
What's happening?
Ok.

Quick answer: unistall dota 2, demark all DLCs, close Steam, delete steam/Steamapps/workshop entire folder, open steam and download dota.

Long Answer: When I saw it I though it was a trojan: SysinfY2X.db

I have downloaded Malwarebytes, ESET Online and of course full scan with AVAST. I couldn't find a solution until I did the first step.
Same issue here. I did delete the workshop file and unsubscribe from all dota 2 workshop items. I still have the issue from different valveXXX.steamcontent.... (XXX is different numbers) I guess it could be a problem with other workshop items?

I use AVG and I have sent a support ticket to them for those using avg.

Edit: Seems to have fixed it after restarting my computer.

You don't have to uninstall dota2, just unsub the workshop content and remove them and restart steam
