cant use steam chat on browser

was chatting normally yesterday and suddenly it doesnt work today
is it under maintenance or what

Have you tired signing out/back inon the browser, clearing the browser cache, using a different browser, restarting your computer and modem /router?

Same issue, tried different browsers. Steam client has no issues.

Got the same issue on Google Chrome and Firefox.

I have an empty list, so i can't chat with anyone.

I don't have AdBlock/NoScript or anything activated and everything worked yesterday and before.
I'm not aware of any updates on my side, the browser etc.

I have the same problem and i appear offline in chat, and even in my account in which i'm logged in hence being able to write this message but it still says : Currently Offline

No need to spam.

As it seems, multiple users are affected.
So it could in theory also be something on Steam's side that causes this.
