How to remove another user's games from my library?
I searched this problem a few different ways on the googles and so far nothing has worked.

A friend and I shared our Steam libraries. We logged in on each other's computers, did all the codes, and we were able to play each other's games so long as we weren't playing them at the same time. It's not the Family View thing, as none of those settings have ever affected it. I did not use them at the time we set up the library sharing. Family View and Family Sharing is different, so I am assuming. I still use Family Sharing with my father and his computer, and that's fine.

Long story short, that friend and I don't get along anymore. I revoked their access to my library, but I still had access to their games on my computer. I kept seeing their name on my account and I kept being notified that their library was available to me periodically throughout the day. I sent them an email to revoke access to me hoping that would work - something I loathed doing, but I wanted it gone and so I had to establish that contact.

I got no response from them, but my library did update to say "Other Games" instead of "[USER]'s Games." But it is all otherwise still there, it still pops up notifications to say I'm sharing a blank user's library, and I still want it gone. I don't want to see it. I don't want it "available" to me now or later or ever. I have none of their games installed. I have tried logging off and back on to Steam manually, and changing my Steam password. I even enabled Family View and then disabled it again, but as I mentioned before, that was not the service we had set things up through.

How do I remove this person's library from mine for good?

And does this mean they still have access to my library even though I revoked access to them? As regrettable as that is, I at least want their crap off my account, but being able to make sure they don't have like a hundred free games because they abused my friendship would be nice, too.

just click manager other computers and get rid of it

I have already done that days ago and it does not seem to affect the situation.

Here is a screenshot to show it: https://i.imgur.com/GypMjZs.png

"Tr" is my father (this access is okay) and "PH" is the person being a problem (not okay).

This unfortunately did not help me. My config.vdf file does not have any "AuthorizedLender" section, my computer is the only "AuthorizedDevice" listed, and only my account name and SteamID appear anywhere within the file.

This worked, thank you so much!

I had my doubts as it was still ~2.3GB of files I was removing (I did leave the steamapps folder there) and so a lot of things are now updating, but the nagging lil library is gone. :steamhappy:

I guess I'll never know how things look at the other end, but I don't have to worry about it now. Thank you again.
