Family Share save files
Hey, I was wondering something about the family share option.
So I recently got a new PC and I'm now able to play alot more games. My boyfriend shared his library with me so I can play The Witcher 3.
I already tried it once on his PC so I have one save file on his PC.

So after I started the game I had the option to load from different save files, I'm assuming they're my bfs files.
I dont want to mess anything up, neither did I find anything related to my question online, so I'm asking here, is there a way for me to start a new game without messing up/overwriting his save files or having to carefully pay attention to what saves are mine and which are his?

Thanks in advance and sorry for my horrible explaining lmao, it makes alot more sense in my head :'D

Normally when you family share a game, things like saves are yours and not the person sharing.

Ask your BF if the saves are indeed his. Load one up and see if he recognizes it.

Very few games share saves and in game characters.

Just checked up with my bf. The save files I'm able to load arent his, they're my own from when I tried the game on his PC with my steam account.
I guess I didnt expect that I had this many save files already. Thank you :D
