No, but the fact that United Kingdom is there and none of the countries in it are listed means that it isn't a mistake.
There are more lists also: https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/List_of_sovereign_states_and_dependent_territories_in_Europe
You understand why it is what it is right?
If you use Wikipedia as a source, then why not use this article as well?

Scotland (/ˈskɒtlənd/; Scots: [ˈskɔtlənd]; Scottish Gaelic: Alba [ˈal̪ˠapə] (About this sound listen)) is a country that is part of the United Kingdom and covers the northern third of the island of Great Britain.[16][17][18] It shares a border with England to the south, and is otherwise surrounded by the Atlantic Ocean, with the North Sea to the east and the North Channel and Irish Sea to the south-west. In addition to the mainland, the country is made up of more than 790 islands,[19] including the Northern Isles and the Hebrides.

You voted or were outvoted to remain part of the UK, which is there to choose. As far as valve is concerned, there's no problem.

Except Scotland didn't vote to loose their sovereignty, they voted to stay in the UK. Should countries in the EU be referred to as Europe and lose all their national identity too?

The United Kingdom is a sovereign state comprised of four dependent countries.
The EU is a political and economical union comprised of a large number of sovereign states.
