How to request password on every purchase?
It used to be that I had to enter my password before every purchase, and I made an effort to UNtick the box "Remember this computer". I forgot to untick it once and now the password prompt is gone. I'd like to restore it back, and I've already tried wiping the cookies. Any suggestions?

If you buy a game over the browser it will always ask. With the Steam client it assumes you are the correct owner when you are logged in since you already entered the password for that.

It doesn't anymore, that's my issue. Maybe it's just temporarily and it'll ask it again tomorrow. My tests today suggest that it isn't asking for it, even after logging out and wiping the cookies.

Hm, still does for me. Just tried. Put a game into the cart and clicked on checkout and it wanted my login again. Using Chrome browser.

Passwords are only saved if you state / hit the checkbox to save. If you're using a browser, you can change settings in your browser to wipe cookies each time you close down your browser (On all cookies or just a preset of cookies on certain websites)

Or make a suggestion at link below that steam should have an option to type a password on each purchase, just like Google play is doing everytime you want to buy an app. (by default the play store does this)
