How do I get gift code???

I want to send a portal game to my friend with this code but idk how to get it... I mean i know that i must go into inventory and click for the portal and do something more then but I just dont have this game there, I only have Csgo inventory with some skins. Also I didnt installed this game if its important. Pls tell me how to get this code if you know guys!

The only "gift codes" available on Steam are these http://store.steampowered.com/digitalgiftcards/selectgiftcard

Or in your local game stop.

Those aren't codes you buy from Steam. Or gift codes. While Steam wallet card codes can be gifted, they are not gift codes.

Those are Steam gifts, not codes. You can buy a game as a gift and on checkout have to select a recipient for the gift. You do not get a code.
