All Steam games freeze on my pc - please help me.

Hi,
My Laptop is a Lenovo Thinkpad E470. Intel® Core™ i7 (7. Generation) 7500U Prozessor 2x 2.70 GHz and 16gb Ram and a Nvidia GeForce 940MX 2gb.

Two months ago, I bought Divinity Original Sin 2. At first everything worked fine, but as soon as I got to Fort Joy the game started to freeze for 30 seconds at a time. Sometimes the sound kept running, sometimes not. I tried it on all settings and it still kept freezing. So I stopped playing the game, but soon all my steam games started freezing.

First I checked all my drivers and updated them, still freezes in all games. Then I did a clean install of all games, some are graphics intense for my system like Dos 2 or Total War Warhammer 2, but others are not like They are Billions, Dishonored and Stellaris. Still freezes.
I did two steam reinstallations one normally and one manually with deleting the registry keys. Still freezes.

Of course I ran several programs, that track temperatures and stuff. The system gets hot, but it does not overheat.

Now the weird thing is that other non steam games work without freezes. I ran Diablo 3 on max settings for hours without problems or freezes. I also dont have any problems, when I am not gaming.

So did my graphic card go down or is it some other bug? Please help.
