Access the steam community keeps popping up multiple times while playing

So, whenever I play a game on steam, it starts off with the access the steam community thing as always, and thats fine. Tho while playing the game it pops up multiple time and i cant even open the steam overlay with ♥♥♥♥♥+tab at times, its like it sometimes works and sometimes doesnt. Any fix to this?

If you don't care about accessing the overlay, then you can go to your library, right click the game, go to properties, then there should be an option to uncheck "Steam Overlay while in-game". The message should not popup when it's unchecked.

Yea thats true, but is that the solution? Its supposed to work normally like it did to this very day, no idea what messed up but I like my overlay to be on smh

You can try to open up Task Manager while the game is running, and find a process called "gameoverlayui.exe".

End it, and wait a little, then try opening up the Steam Overlay again. Basically killing "gameoverlayui.exe" is supposed to restart it.

Also, could be background apps interfering with the Steam Overlay.
