infringement of steam TOS and Trade banned (Help)
Good evening community of Steam
I've received a message from STEAM that both of my accounts are permanently trade banned.

I've never infringement TOS or any of their rules.
I've never been an owner of a gambling website, only a mod for 6 months ago.
I've been gambling on my own but I highly believe this cannot end in a TRADE BAN.
It's not my fault that gambling exists and this ban is something completely absurd.
I've never done anything wrong nor scamming someone or any other type of fishy things, which would end up in a permanent trade ban.

- Real problems start when I want to contact support. It's simply impossible to create a ticket on my account. A friend of mine and me, checked why I could not create one, and simply it seems like, I'm not allowed to make a ticket. I'm assuming it may be because of the ban. He can do it easily, but there are different options on his screen than mine.

- I think Valve is taking their steps a bit to far, they've blocked an innocent person without any proofs or any potential reason, any kind of anything.
I need some pieces of advice what to do in order to fix my apparent situation

Here is a link to steam support. The user forums can't assist you with trade bans.

You actually have an account lock. Most common reason for account locks is due to user chargebacks.

That's the problem, I've run through every single option down there, and it redirects me to the frontside every single time. I've ran out of options and that's why i created this topic to discuss if anything similar happened to anyone.
Can you explain further what chargebacks are?

That's not a trade ban, that's an account suspension, which is the second highest punishment Valve can give and they only do that with ample evidence and in cases with severe violations of the SSA. The highest would be the account termination aka "deletion".

This has nothing to do with your gambling, not directly. You could have been involved in money laundering.

Chargebacks is when you tell your payment processor to get your money back for a transaction.

A chargeback is, in example, when you call your bank amd say "Yeah, this transaction from yesterday, that was a fraud. Wasnt me/vendor didnt deliver the service, would you kindly rip the money out of the vendor's hands and return it". PayPal calls this a "dispute".

Theres no point assuring anyone here. You need to take it to Steam support.

Alright, thank you guys again, I'll try to follow your advice. I'll run through everything on that support page again.
