Football Manager 2018 not available in your country
Hello.
I am portuguese but work in angola. I was in vacation in Portugal and bought Football Manager 2018 (CD version). Upon arriving in Angola, I tried to install the game (has I had done with previous versions) and a message appears stating that the product is not available in the country I´m in. What can I do to install the game I bought?

I explored stem support, but none of the available options addresses the issue I´m having...

What if I am traveling and the product I am trying to purchase has a note about region restrictions?

If you are currently traveling, please ensure that your store region is correctly set to the country where you permanently reside as shown below. You may view and change your store region from your Account Details page.

Buying games on vacation might have been a bad idea, especially PC games that use steam.

i've done this with fm15, fm16 and fm17, there never was any problem. My country in the account is portugal, but i work in angola. Should i change it to angola and try again?

So you can't buy it in angola I assume? You always had the same region and payment info?

Maybe they changed how the key worked in the new game, check the back of the box or something.

That's correct, I can't buy it here. always the same region and payment info. I've bought games (witcher 3, for instance) while here, but I always like to have a hard copy of Football Manager. I checked the box, nothing changed from the previous games...

If steam thought your region always was portugal then it would let you buy that game even outside of portugal..
Something doesn't add up here..

What country is and was the address of the payment info set to?

My guess is that steam might not think your region is portugal anymore based on purchases you have here.
