Can't log into my steam client from my new laptop

Whenever I try to log in, Steam sends an email to an email account I stopped using a long time ago because I lost access to it (it was a university email). How do I deal with this? I have emailed Steam support but they don't even respond!

Update: I managed to get access to my old email. So, the problem is solved but how do I remove this email from my Steam account?

UPDATE: I ENDED UP ACCESSING MY REALLY OLD ACCOUNT THAT I FORGOT TO DELETE. PROBLEM SOLVED!!!!!!
