Moving The Saves/Profiles Folder
Hello, I need to move my steam folder to another partition of my Hard Disk Drive. I was seeing the How do I move my existing steam Installation guide, and at the end it said:

Note about Save Games

If you are moving your Steam installation to a new hard drive and want to keep game saves/profiles for third party games that are not saved on Steam Cloud most of these can be found in your Documents folder: ~\Documents\[username]\My Games\. Moving this folder to the same location on your new hard drive will maintain your saves/profiles.

By saying Moving this folder to the same location, where exactly do I have to put the folder, in the folder that will have the steam installation?

Thanks

If you stay on the same computer there should be no need to move the save file folders.
The games will still recognize their saves if they create folders in that location.
Only if you move to a new PC/ Windows Installation you need to copy over the save folders.
