Removing Steam Inventory Items

Hello all. This post might seem a little redundant, but I'm getting pretty desperate. I am trying to get rid of some inventory items that are non marketable, non tradeable and cannot be deleted within their respective games. I have contacted Steam Support only to be told that they can't help and I have contacted the developers of the games with no response.

I have extremely debilitating obsessive compulsive dissorder that controls almost every aspect of my life and unfortunately I cannot let this go. If I can't fix this, I will have to get rid of my Steam account and start a new one, losing all my games. So please, I beg of you, if you know of any way that I could get rid of these items, I would be forever thankful.

Fair point. I'm already seeing multiple doctors. I completely understand if it simply isn't possible, but I thought it was worth the ask.

delete would be nice but I know that isn't always an option.

You could create a new account and trade all your rubbish it and only use it as your rubbish dump.. Provided your OCD is accepting of that scenario.

Or

give them away to anyone thaty wants them for free.

I don'thave OCD but this annoys the hell out of me. I have another account I dump crap too when my inventory on this account gets to full of junk.

Friend it to make it easier in the future. (send it your profile link from your main account linked below for you.

Once it's a friend view the profile click the more button then offer a trade. Switch accounts and accept trade on other account.

Will have a 15 day hold without mobile authenticator on both accounts but least the crap will move eventually.

Unfortunately the items I'm trying to get rid of are non tradeable so that didn't work :(

That was a bit of a waste of time Atleast you have it as an option for any tradable items in the future lol

Well, on the plus side, most if not all of the OP's library looks like it should be shareable via Family Sharing so starting a new account should be a lot less painful than they seem to have assumed.

Yes, I see what you mean. Unfortunately, I'm unfamiliar with the game but perhaps the achievements would unlock on the new account the first time you start the game - some games work like that. You could post in the game's own forum, explain the situation and ask whether the achievements would unlock like that or set up a second account and experiment with it - your call.

Might want to take a backup of your saved game files first though - this is a handy little utility for that:
