1 Key gets you like 16 sets of cards, which is 1600xp which for you is 32 (rounded up) sets.
Idk how much keys are worth it's been ages but yeah, times 1 key by 32 and that's how much it will cost you.
I won't spend a penny on buying many cards to level up myself apart from the summer, spring and winter events that is. But then I sell them first for high price and later in the event I rebuy for cheap to get event badges.
Steam level means nothing to me personnally, I done a few game badges over the years but im sticking to event badges only.
What I do these days is spend on retro consoles and games... They never lose value as such, I shop around, go car boot sales and pick up some good bargins. I got a playstation with leads and pad for £10, only needed cleaning up. Got a PS2 for £20, picked up some master system and mega drive games from £1 up and so on.
Steam leveling doesn't benefit anyone because all digital and if valve were too sell up or go out of business, it may be gone forever. But physical hardware and games are here forever and only increase in value over time.
But in my younger days I would of spend leveling up steam (if steam level was thing 14 years ago) but now that im older and wiser, I don't spend my spare money on silly stuff like that.
The link leads you to a group with a couple of level up bots :)
As long as it is working. Chips do decay, and so do Cds. Contacts get rusty, cables break, at some point the main board of the console might shut down. Devices with their own screens like gameboys and gamegears loose sprites or brightness, devices, that depend on external screens may not be able to adjust to new technology.
I got a couple of older consoles and a C64. Trust me, it ain't gonna get better.
