Free to Play games block family share

How come that Free to Play games like Path of Exiles blocks my family share to my son?
This makes no sense and are just wrong. Before steam when you bought games you got a cd/dvd copy of it and could install it on as many computer as you needed. You could only play the game on one conputer at a time but you could play two different games at once on two computers. Playing one game should not block all the other games on the share list to start with but when Free to Play games aswell blocks my game list I share with my son then something are realy bad. There are no good reasons for free to play games blocking the family share.

I have read that and I totaly dissagree. There where litterly zero friction before steam. I have had computers since I was twelve and had an Amiga 500 as my first computer. I had over 300 discs with pirated games and I had no problem getting games for Amiga and I was living in a little town of 5000 people. When internet arrived we downloaded games and cracks and had every game we whanted so claming there where more friction before Steam is totaly wrong.
This blocking of family sharing are just hurting more then it helps since if you whant to get the game the wrong way you will get it anyway and the block will only make it harder for us people who are adults and buy games and are the ones who have the money. When I grew up it was we the kids who the adults bought the games for but today we are adults and still play games and now buy them for outselves and to our own kids. Blocking family share for trying to block youngsters abusing the system are just wrong for they will get the games anyway and are just hurting the ones paying for games.

Please enlighten me what is wrong with the post. Is it the ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ or that I am talking about piracy as an argument of how wrong the rules of family sharing works?

But I am not talking how you should to it. I just used it as an valid argument for how wrong the friction argumentand are and if they ban me for that well..
This piracy was not what my post where about. It first are about how wrong it is to block the family sharing when I play a Free to Play games like Path of Exiles and secondly the blocking all the other games when I play a game.
