IGPU causing input lag?
I’m waiting on a 1050ti, so I’m playing on integrated graphics, but I’ve noticed some input lag on a few games even when running at the lowest possible settings, getting about 50-120fps, can integrated graphics cause this? Will my problem be gone when I get my 1050?

did you find a fix

I got a GTX 1050ti. Everything runs on high settings at around 60-120fps. But, there is huge, huge input lag, very noticeable. Its my TV, or at least im very very sure

It is most likely your display.

Overall latency tends to be high on most televisions. Reason being that the use case (watching television broadcast and such) does not need a low latency.

You can see if your TV has a game mode, but that is about all you can do, other than get a new display.

It has a game mode but when im using my PC on it, its locked and tells me its not available. When i got the display, i didnt think about wether it was a TV, monitor, i wasnt bothered about the resolution, response time, refresh rate, nothin. Ima keep an eye out for a 1080 monitor, and try my best to cope with the super high latency. Thank you for your time!

I'm sorry you have to deal with the latency. Hang in there, bud!

When you do look for a monitor, don't look at the advertised response time as if it is latency. Input latency is not the same as response time. This advertised response time is typically measured GTG (gray to gray) and is more a representation of how the monitor handles ghosting.

There are a few sites that have a database that list the latency of monitors (and TVs), but I've yet to actually find one that is anywhere near comprehensive enough to be even worth promoting. So far, they all seem to have flaws in some way, usually with incomplete databases or incomplete/incorrect data collection/methodology. Just browse through a few of them, knowing that the data may not be 100% accurate, and come to your own conclusion.

As far as your TV not letting you use game mode, it is probably because of the type of connection. I know some TVs only allow game mode with component/composite.

Ive heard about this, i will try find a few websites, i wont buy a monitor unless im 110% sure it will be a better experience than my TV, i will do some research before i even start looking though, i dont wanna buy something as advertised and for me not to fully understand what theyre advertising! I believe any monitor will be better than this TV though, i hope my picky side doesnt get the better of me, i wish i could ignore it:steamsad:

Thank you very much! :)
