Will unsubscribing from a mod delete it?
I bought Arma 3 over Christmas, Went nuts and started downloading mods to play on the servers. Now I've got a 80+GB folder full of ♥♥♥♥ that I don't know how to get rid of safely. I've learned to 'unsubscribe' from the workshop page, but I'm assuming that doesn't magically suck out the mods from my PC.
Any suggestions on how to lighten my folder?
Thanks in advance

Yes. Although the game might have a "Mods" or "Addons" folder that you might need to go to in order to delete them completely (Like Garry's Mod for example). Right click the game in your library>Properties>Local Files>Browse Local Files and see if you can find any.

No, it does not always delete it. It should, but it doesn't always. I cannot get Steam to remove the damn mods even after unsubscribing (because it wouldn't update the mods either) and all Steam does when I try to re-subscribe to those mods (to get updated versions) is use the old versions it left on disk.... so I delete the mods from disk after unsubscribing again, and then Steam refuses to download the updated mods and just says they are corrupted. WTF Steam?!?!?! DayZ via Steam has the worst mod support of any game I have ever played. Complete 💩 show.

This thread was quite old before the recent post, so we're locking it to prevent confusion.
