Turning on controller vibration?

In most of my games, moving across the trackpads/using the gyro gives some feedback. I imported a controller config for Far Cry 4, and it does not vibrate. How can I turn this on?

Assuming you're in Big Picture Mode, try choosing Manage Controllers and check Enable Rumble Feature.

You want vibration from the game or from the usage feedback of the controller thing?

You do the feedback thing from the binding settings, for example if you want it from motion then you go to the motion thing and it should be there under settings.

From the game you do the thing sonic said above but might not send rumble if the game thinks you're using keyboard and mouse.

hmm, i think valve steam should make a decent gamepad or controller for Microsoft windows Macintosh operating system Linux mobile phones tables and even consoles too which has an analog dpad select or start left and right button and triggers and also various ABC XY and Z or just a b and x and y with vibrating functions just like some gamepad has. which sony or sega or Nintendo or Microsoft controller did. what do you all think?

I have a Genric Controller but its vibration doesn't work weather i check the calibration on steam or in game
