witcher 3 GOG game key help
i have witcher 3 on steam, bought the expansion pass on humble bundle which gave me a GOG key, will i able to play witcher 3 on steam with the dlc?

No. To get the DLC on Steam you have to buy the Steam version of them.
No way around it.

No. The GoG key is only for GoG.

In some games you can actually just copy the whole game folder with DLCs into Steam game folder and game recognizes DLCs.

Install games from both Steam and GOG, and then copy all game files from GOG folder to Steam folder and see will it work.

He can't even DL the DLC on GoG without the base game.

Oh well my dumbass didn’t check if it was for steam or GOG 🤦🏻‍♂️, Guess I’ll have to refund it

My bad.
I thought he had standard version on Steam and bought version with expansions on GOG.
In that case, copying game from GOG folder to Steam folder could allow him to use those expansions in Steam version.
