I get the message

"An error was encountered while processing your request:

There was a problem redeeming the gift. Please try again later, or contact Steam Support for assistance."

where on this piece of absolute crap site can i open a ticket to support as per the error message received? I just spent good 15 minutes looking and found nothing besides crap help tips on gifting and other useless stuff.

My visa giftcard has only 65.00 on it. I put the 65.00 on steam and there is no money left to do these small authorizations. What do I do. Why do I have to wait 5 days to use the money steam already has on my visa giftcard when there is no money left to do 2 more small authorizations??? ??

Steam has my 65.00 loaded but I can't use it because my visa giftcard only had 65.00 om it. No more money to do 2 small transactions to get authorizations. What the hek?

I should be able to access my 65.00 on steam. This stinks. I've never had this issue before when I was given giftcards to use. If there is ONLY 65.00 on the card Steam can't do 2 more small charges to verify my visa giftcard.

For you, what type of gift? If a game, please tell us the name. You have to be specific with your posts.

How do I verify a gift card that has a limited amount of funds?

In order to complete credit card verification, you'll need between $3 and $4 USD remaining on the card. In 5-10 business days, the money will be returned to the card. If you cannot complete credit card verification yourself, you will have to wait three days until the restriction is removed automatically.

That is only for the Market. You can use the Steam store just fine.
