[FIX] No sound/ audio on Steam Games
I saw a lot of people face this issue. It seems that sound managers and updates mess things up. I am sharing the fixes I found while browsing about this problem and I hope the fixes will help you.

1]
For Asus users -> Uninstall or turn off Sonic Studio and Sonic Radar 3.
2)
For MSI users-> Uninstall or turn off Nahimic

Make sure you restart any apps/games after uninstalling to test the sound.

After uninstall these programms you may face problems with microphone, as I saw a user complaining about it. So, if you have a choice to turn them off and not completely remove them, choose to just turn them off before playing the problematic games.

I paste what Lostraus user wrote on a forum:

You can search your pc for Sonic Studio 3 and Radar 3, then delete them. I did that. I do not think it completely removes them, though. If I still go to my taskbar and click to see what programs are running in the background, Sonic Studio 3 is sometimes still there. I just close it. Regardless, after "deleting" the two files, my game audio issues disappeared.

Another solution I found, but is not working for everyone, is Run Steam and Game as administator.

Run Steam as administrator
1. If you have Steam -icon on your desktop right-click it. You can click straight away Run as Administrator or go to Properties and make Steam always run as administrator.

2. Click Compatibility, check Run this program as an administrator and click Ok.

If you didn’t have Steam icon on your desktop you can open your startup menu, and write steam, right click Steam icon and select Run as administrator. Other option is to select Open file location and do steps described above to make Steam always start as administrator.

-----------------------------------------------------------------------------

Run problematic game as administrator
1. Open up Steam Library in front of you and find your problematic game on the list. When you have found it, right click it, and select Properties.

2. Click Local Files -tab and from there Browse local files.

3. Find game executable and right click it and select Properties.

4. Open Compatibility -tab, select Run as administrator, and click Ok

4]
Change sound driver from realtek hd audio to the generic windows audio.

5]
Restore Windows to previous version or Reset Windows (I don't recommend it as you have to install again your apps and games on Reset Windows, and you have to be cautious not to delete your files on the process.)

I hope these solutions I found while searching for sound problems will help you. :steamhappy:
