Low Steam network usage
Hello!

My normal download speed is somewhere between 20-50 mbps however I can't get more than 1mpbs(sometimes less) with Steam. I have tried a variety of solutions such as clearing download cache, changing regions, updating my network adapter and a few others. I couldn't find a fix to my problem. Please, any help would be appreciated, since I've had this problem for a while now.

(P.S. After I have updated my network drivers, the download speed was again normal for one game, then dropped again
P.S.2. I am not sure if there is any connection to it, but my disk usage is just as low as the downloading speed, nonetheless, my hdd is in good condition and not being used by any other app.)

I think, that the fault is not on your side.

Examples:

I just want to install a game and have a downloadrate between ZERO and 18 MB/sec

This issue exists now since some weeks. When I want to download the same game tomorrow, I'll probably have stable max-speed.

I downloaded Anthem from Origin (IIRC more than 60 GB) in less than one hour, while STEAM-speed was like I wrote above when I tried to download something before.

The good news for you:
You can stop to configure and reconfigure your stuff, because there is something wrong with STEAM.

Thank you for the answer, but apparently, this was not the case. I may sound dumb, but the fact why my steam download speed was so low was that I had little space remaining on my hdd (>20Gb). After clearing up some stuff, and freeing around 100Gb worth of space, my download speed returned to normal again.
