Trade error 11

So yesterday when someone was trading me a rocket jumper and I accepted the trade, an error popped up with the error code (11) on the end. Help please?

Error code 11. This error occurs when you are attempting to start the game directly via the executable. Make sure to log into your Steam client, and start the game from your Library.


Doubt it would revolve around that unless Steam made a hiccup but you should have received the trade nevertheless.

It's TF2, and thats the error code from games.

The error code spans across many games which led to my assumption it was RL.

Unless the trader hasn't gone full Steam Guard, that would explain it.
