When Banned For Cheating on H1Z1
So every time I bring this up I just get a bunch of "quit cheating" posts. Great. Anyway for the small chance I am one of the few who got banned on a game where cheat detection is questionable, is there any way to remove a ban mark? I have two(2) ban marks for H1Z1 and it's two for one ban mark brilliance, in which Steam has a wonderful way of displaying two bans as multiple bans on the profile.

Anyway, these bans look bad, as they should, but what if the player was honest? What if the player was against cheating entirely? I've had my account since steam launched give or take a week. I've casually built my profile to my liking, bought many games and played within the rules of each game unless it was single player and I already beat the story once. I even streamed on Twitch enough to become an affiliate before giving that up due to life responsibilities. Enough about my personal life, is there a way to remove ban marks?

I spoke to the H1Z1 Dev team trying to get info for the ban, proof of the existence of cheating. I even tried to tell them that the glitches in the game where I fell through the map twice and wound up in a locked base because of slow loading models may have been mistakenly detected as cheating but of course they sent me automated emails.

I didn't even want to play the game they could have removed the game from my library and I wouldn't even care.

I simply hate the marks and accusation that I cheated. The game is dead, no one cares about it, however I practically paid for two ban marks and to be trolled with "quit cheating" comments. People probably made public apologies to get unbanned just to uninstall the game and never touch it again. I would make the video just to forever remove it from steam. Anyone know where I can do this? Just make a YouTube video saying sorry to Daybreak? I'll do it on Twitch too... I just want the marks gone and anything Daybreak in my library gone. Forget the money I wasted.

Welp, at least their game is dead now. Learned to stay away from a developer anyway.

Good news is after a certain period of time the ban notices won't be public on your profile. You'll still be able to see them but others won't

Bad news is i think that period of time is something like 7 years

Welcome to my world, got a ban almost 4 years ago for cheating, even though I didn't play that game for a year back then. Meaning. Playing the game like normal, exiting the game, not playing for year, wanting to return (installing and launching), aaaaaaaaaand out of nowhere ban. Not Vac but still. And couldn't ask for any reason, because the survey they wanted me to fill, has info that I didn't remember at all. (like playername or server and stuff like that). Thanks and FY Daybreak.
