Wishlist notifications don't work for me any more

I have put a few games on my wishlist and in the email settings I have all notifications on, including the one to get notified when a game on the wishlist is on sale.

Last year, this used to work. I was notified a few times and bought a few discounted games.

But since January 2019 I haven't got a single notification email any more, and at least two of the games on my list have been on sale since then. Just today there is a discount on a game from my wishlist. So I conclude that this feature is either completely broken or unreliable.

I have auto-update on, so I have the latest Windows Steam client. And yes, I checked my SPAM folder.

Please Steam team, fix this (or remove the feature if it cannot get repaired for whatever reason).

Well, I still get notifications.

I don't know whether they are sent reliably and/or for all games as I rely on the waitlist anyway, but they DO still come in.

Mine work. Last email about item on wishlist was Saturday. Can't advise on how to fix it for you but it isn't completely broken for all users.

try disabling email notifications then enabling again?
also make sure youre checking the right email, the one thats tied to your steam account

Interesting to hear that this feature works for other users. Now I wonder what's different for me.
I disabled the email notifications and re-enabled them afterwards. Lets see if this helps. (The email is correct, I got a Steam guard request recently so Steam knows how to contact me.)

I wonder if these notifications are only sent out for sales lasting multiple days, not for the special offers which often last for only a day?

48 hour sales do send out mails too, so it's not that either. Strange case of yours indeed.
