hide 'game playing' from friends and other etc

any way to do this please? or at least rename the game to something else? it would be hella cool to rename my games to something different so then I can sort my games myself, but first I'd prefer to hide what I'm playing if possible at all? I suppose I'll try offline mode?

Hi,

if u really want to hide the game u are playing from your friends, then just simply go to Steam > Friends > Click on the Drop Down Menu next to your name > Click on Offline.

This will log you out of steam friends chat but will still allow you to play your games alone!!!


2nd Way -

After you log in steam, go to Friends at the very top > click on offline

Both has the same effect and allows u to play steam games hiding it from your friends...

Set your game details to private.

You can use Invisible mode

It's better than offline mode because you can still chat and appears as online to friends, but they won't be able to see that you're playing game.

You can also set your Game Details to private

This way your friends won't be able to see games you play
