ZETA FLYFF IS CRIMINAL
Steam is refusing refunds quoting an unlawful terms of service. Just like this games developer Phasma utilizing Steam assured us this game was not a fraud and licensed.
(¡Dios mío, no lo fue!) I looked into this too good to be true game prior to my purchase of cash shop of course. Rest assured Phasma cleared it with Steam and Gaia.net they even have a OG Dev on the team!! Pffffffff That explains why ZetaFlyff was promptly pulled out of the store and all discussion boards have been shut down. Not before my $70.00 USD and 50 hour investment naturally.

Having a more than loyal customer who has spent thousands of hard earned dollars and hours with your company take the hit of this liability in its entirety after you green lighted this project. Is that good business Steam?

This wouldn't happen on other suites like Epic Games. Been with steam over 15 years and I have over 300 games they shut down a refund request quoting a terms of service for an illegal game...
Real classy Steam. Good lookin out.

This is a joke, that should of never happened. Steam is legally at fault for publishing this title prior to authenticating credentials with WEBZEN, the current owners of Flyff.

Its a Grindy af MMO RPG not a flipping immersive story game where 50 hours is it. The first 100 hours of most MMOs suck @$$, especially this one. I got noting but my time wasted and money stolen then reminded of how ignorant some of my peers are.

Your beef is with the game devs/pubs.

Get a lawyer and sue them.

Incoherent ranting will get you no help. I have no idea what game you are talking about, nor what kind of problem you are having with the game.

You played a game for 50 hours. Now you want a refund because it's been removed from the store? That's now how refunds work.
Wolf Knight Nov 23, 2019 @ 9:55am
and your post looks like a rant.

1. refund policy is less then 2 hours played and owned less then 2 weeks. 50 hours is well past the refund policy.

2. if you think a game is a fraud or scam, report it thru its store page

3. if you are having trouble with a game, posting in that games forum helps. it also helps to make a clear post about the issue and not be attacking anything.

The game was F2P, the OP bought a bunch of currency from the games shop and that's what he wants refunded because the game is no longer listed in the Steam store.

What he missed was that Valve only refunds in-game purchases from their own games under certain circumstances and for 3rd party games they will only issue refunds if the developer/publisher has permitted Valve to do so (under the same circumstances). If refunds are not available, Steam will warn the user that their purchase is non-refundable.

If you bought ingame items your refund requests need to be aimed at the developer/publisher.
Steam does not see any money from ingame purchases.

Wouldn't happen on Epic?

Tell me have you heard about vaulting yet you know the thing where Epic take items users paid for and then remove them from the game?

My beef is with steam for not even emailing WEBZEN before publishing their game. I dont not have the submitted license nor authority to do so.

Then Steam refunded my buddies money for the exact same issue (He lives like 20min from me, same time spent in game) then Steam tells me they cant give me a refund.

Its Steams only purpose to protect its clients from BS. If thats the case why even buy games just torrent everything. Risk vs Reward.

They told the game dev everything before the removal of their game. Usually within 12-24 hours.

Zeta Flyff was greenlighted for months and up for weeks. Get your ass off the beach and legalize your operation. No excuses, I'm out time and money on Steams negligence.
