wifi and vpn, also worst connection issue
wifi = possible low connection possibilities
vpn = you still need to go through network to get to location and then get DATA and back = bottleneck ( only skilled people use this or business solution ) for gameing bad solution more jump point and lag. ( latency per jump)
I was having same issue as OP and this solved it. Thank you!
* Navigate to HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Software\Microsoft\Windows\CurrentVersion\Run
* Find the entry named Steam and add the parameters:
"C:\Program Files (x86)\Steam\steam.exe" -silent -nochatui -nofriendsui
another fix is to update to BETA(which usually solves the problem)
this worked for me, but the resolution of the app ended up being WAAAAAAY to granular with small text, so I went back and enabled the option and restarted and it seems to still be working.
