How to make Steam see my custom controller as
PS4 one. My controller just has PS4 buttons. Would be really helpful instead of A, B, Y, X

I dont know if theres anything 3rd party, but in games, that is up to the developers to add.

Steam client itself already detects Playstation 4 and Xbox One controllers respectively by default, in big picture mode you get to do indepth configuration of each controller based on which one is connected.

However displayed buttons in-game has to do with the game interface itself and not Steam sadly.
If the game you're playing is showing Xbox buttons then that means the developer only thought of those controllers to add as guidelines.

Unfortunately Xbox buttons are widely common in games as opposed to Playstation due to Xbox is a Microsoft product and often are immediately compatible with PC configurations.
